I guess you could say I was born to sing.
My parents were nightclub and radio performers in New York City
And after much prodding on my part, when I was just
three years old they incorporated me into the family act which also
included my older sister. Not many small children can sing melody,
let alone four-part harmony.
By the time I was ten, I had taught myself to play the guitar and piano
and I as was writing songs that as a teenager I performed in
a variety of venues. I also lent my talents to musical theatre
appearing in local and school productions of
The Mikado, The Sound of Music, The Music Man and Man of La Mancha.
At the same time I began singing and fronting for pop, dance and
rock bands that performed in clubs on Long Island.
After a brief time in Nashville I moved to Los Angeles.
While in Los Angeles I received the
Bronze Halo Award for
Outstanding Contribution to the Entertainment Industry
Presented by the
Southern California Motion Picture Council.
I was also the First Place Winner on
The Family Channels’
“The New Original Amateur Hour”
I’ve been told my voice has the power of Celine Dion, a pinch of
Judy Garland, a sprinkle of Broadway and even a
splash of Frank Sinatra. Thanks to all of that I like to think
I’ve created a versatile and unique vocal style
all my own.
